I'm building a library of experts.
I want you in it.

Students don't only need maps and exams. They need real people in real jobs — honest journeys, pivots, first roles, and advice that isn't a brochure. Through YourSteps, I'm building an Expert Library: professionals who pay it forward so the next student doesn't walk blind.

Career clarity shouldn't depend on who you already know.

I grew up with wrong advice, failed entrances, and a long route into tech. Guidance changed outcomes in my own family. Now I want that clarity to scale — not as another coaching product, but as a public library of authentic career stories on yoursteps.in.

For students

Discover careers through people — industry, education path, first job, and honest trade-offs.

For professionals

Pay it forward in about 10–15 minutes. Your story may be the map someone never got at home.

For YourSteps

Stories live on the public site; later they support counselling on the YourSteps portal too.

Simple loop. Real impact.

  1. You share

Tell us about your career, the decisions that shaped it, your experiences, and the maturity you gained along the way.

  2. I curate

I review for clarity and authenticity. No hype. No fake guarantees. Real paths only.

  3. Students discover

Published experts appear on YourSteps — including a weekly homepage spotlight of up to 8 people.

  4. Library grows

After the spotlight week, your profile stays in the Expert Library for anyone to read.

Your career. Your decisions. Your experience.

We're not looking for a polished résumé. We're looking for the human side of how you got here — the choices you made, the maturity you earned, and what you'd tell a student standing where you once stood.

Your career

Where you work, what you do, and the path that led you there — education, pivots, first roles, and all.

Your decisions

The forks in the road — what you chose, what you left behind, and the trade-offs brochures never mention.

Your experience & maturity

What the work taught you, how you grew, and the advice you'd give someone still figuring it out.

If you've walked a path students can't see from a classroom, you're the right person.

  • Working professionals across industries — tech, design, medicine, law, trades, public service, entrepreneurship
  • People who pivoted, failed an entrance, switched streams, or took a non-linear route
  • Alumni and mentors who want students to hear something more useful than “study hard”
  • Anyone willing to be honest about trade-offs, not only highlight reels
